Teaching German as a Second/Foreign Language
Teaching skills for diverse language-learning settings
In the certificate program “Teaching German as a Second and Foreign Language,” you professionalize your teaching practice for (linguistically) diverse groups—with a focus on adult education. You combine research-based foundations with intensive practice (classroom observation and a supervised teaching practicum) and further develop lesson plans, materials, and learning environments tailored to your target groups. A central focus is placed on multilingualism, reflection on your own role, and the societal and language policy frameworks of instruction.
This program is offered in German. Need more information? Change the site language to German (top of page) for complete details.
