Tourism and Law
Legal Confidence for the Dynamic Tourism Sector
With more than 50,000 companies and approximately 330,000 employees, the tourism industry is a key component of the Austrian economy. It is subject to complex legal regulations at both the national and international levels, the significance of which is reflected in numerous higher-court rulings. Conveying these relevant legal and economic topics is therefore of great importance for the tourism sector and for those responsible for management and legal enforcement. Accordingly, the LL.M. program covers a broad spectrum – from hotel and hospitality law to travel and aviation law, as well as tax and fee law. In addition, business fundamentals and tourism marketing are integral parts of the master’s program.
The LL.M. program is designed for individuals who work in the tourism sector or are interested in entering the field and who wish to acquire comprehensive, practice-oriented knowledge of the legal framework governing this domain.
