Existential Analysis and Logotherapy
Professional guidance on life-changing issues
Existential Analysis and Logotherapy is one of the humanistic schools of psychotherapy: founded as the “Third Viennese School” by Viktor E. Frankl and significantly further developed by Alfried Längle. In the master’s program, you will delve deeper into this approach as a phenomenological-personal form of psychotherapy—with the goal of guiding people toward an experience of inner freedom, authentic self-expression, and a self-responsible way of relating to themselves and their world.
The focus is on those questions of life that become particularly prominent during crises, transitions, and decisions: Where do I feel safe? What makes me feel alive? Who am I? What gives my life meaning? To this end, the master’s program combines a scientific foundation, self-awareness, and clinical practice, fostering a professional attitude that consistently integrates responsibility and humanity.
